FAQs

General / Studio Environment

Do you use incense or essential oils during sessions?

Yes, we sometimes use essential oils, sage, or gentle incense to create a calming, grounding atmosphere. These are intended to enhance the experience, but if you’re sensitive, please let us know beforehand and we’ll happily adjust. Your comfort and wellbeing always come first.

What should I bring?

Please bring water, comfortable layered clothing, and cosy socks. Sessions involve lying down and some people find it comfortable and cosy to bring a pillow and an eye mask. Included in your investment, we provide you with a blanket, fluffy mat and bolsters to make yourself as cocooned as possible! Temperature can drop slightly as you enter a meditative state, so layers are recommended (and fluffy socks!)

Sound Baths

What happens during a Sound Bath?

To get the most from your session, simply relax in a comfortable position—lying on the floor or on a mat you bring, eyes closed or with a mask. Allow the sounds to wash over you and stay present with whatever arises. Sleeping is perfectly fine; it’s all about letting go and being held by sound.

What happens if I snore?

No worries! Snoring is natural and nothing to feel embarrassed about. Everyone experiences sound differently, and the group environment is welcoming and non-judgmental.

Can I take a Sound Bath while pregnant?

Every pregnancy is unique, and research on sound baths during pregnancy is limited. We never place instruments directly on anyone. Please consult your physician before attending. With clearance, pregnant participants are welcome—bring extra pillows to lie comfortably on your side, as lying on your back is not recommended after the first trimester.

Breathwork

What is Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB)?

CCB is a powerful practice where you breathe in a continuous, connected manner. Rooted in ancient healing traditions and modernised for today, it allows you to explore the depths of your mind, body, and soul.

How does CCB differ from other breathwork techniques?

While many breathwork methods exist, CCB’s focus on unbroken, circular breath creates a unique blend of physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits including fostering a deeper sense of self.

What are the benefits?

  • Physical: Increased energy, improved detoxification, releasing stuck energy and nervous system regulation

  • Emotional: Reduced anxiety, clarity, and emotional release

  • Spiritual: Deeper self-connection, insight, and inner calm

Are there any side effects or risks?

Some people may feel lightheaded or emotional during a session, these effects are short-lived. Those with certain health conditions (pregnancy, epilepsy, severe asthma/COPD, psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar, heart conditions, high/low blood pressure) should consult their doctor before attending. A contraindication form is always completed before a session so we can guide you with what is best. We will also go through everything that you might experience during your first session with us.

Can I attend a workshop if I haven’t done Conscious Connected Breathwork before?

No. It is important that we have a session with you first so that we can offer 1:1 guidance on how to breath and support you fully during your first breathing session.

Can I participate if I don’t like to be touched?

Absolutely! Any acupressure or touch elements are optional and will be removed if preferred. You’ll still experience a transformative breath journey using affirmations linked to your unique breathing pattern.

What should I expect during my first session?

Expect a journey. Gentle preparation, guided breathing to connect the breath, and a range of sensations from tingling to emotional release. Trust the process and breathe through what comes up. We will be there to guide you and support you.

Coaching

Can I work with you if I’m currently in talking therapy?

For the best results, coaching works with clients not currently in therapy. Once you’re ready, we can start your journey. If therapy becomes necessary during our work, sessions can be paused or refunded.

I’ve tried quitting alcohol before—why is this different?

I’ve been there—planning days around pubs, finding no joy if alcohol wasn’t involved. Moderation rarely works when you’re ready for freedom. I’ve coached women at every stage—from rock bottom to high-powered professionals—helping them reclaim energy, focus, and clarity.

What’s included in coaching programmes?

Using Positive Psychology, breathwork, visualisation, and my 5:11 system, we’ll explore:

  • Triggers and strategies to navigate them

  • Managing stress, anger, or boredom without alcohol

  • Building energy, focus, and clarity

  • Aligning your life with values, dreams, and goals

  • How long are programmes?

Programmes run for a minimum of 6 weeks, with weekly Zoom or in-person sessions and ongoing support via messaging.

Do I have to give up alcohol to work with you?

No, these sessions are designed to guide you toward living freely without alcohol. We invite you to show up fully, during each session and in the time between, as this is where real transformation happens, creating space for freedom, clarity, and joy.

Retreats & Events

What’s included in retreats?

Each retreat is unique and seasonal, flowing with the natural rhythms of the year and the energy of the universe. Individual events will clearly explain what’s included.
